From the start, we were not prepared for all of the areas a realtor handles from attracting a buyer to properly closing a home sale. Susan first explained clearly what it takes to sell a home IN MALIBU. This means having a keen understanding of what each house in Malibu is worth given the unique nature of each home. For us this meant her willingness and energy to properly set up our home for presentation, showing the house which takes time to walk potential buyers down to the beach and explain the value of each beach access and why our beach access has additional appeal. It also meant having proper photos/visuals aimed at the type of buyer that would be interested in our home.

Next, is navigation of the escrow process and an understanding of loan documents - and what it means for a home owner when selecting a buyer. Susan made the process extremely clear and we felt safe in her hands. We also knew we had the sharpest mind in the room when it came to negotiations.
